The working group “BuitenMaten” has developed a high-quality analysis of village life. Important projects have triggered a sustainable revitalization of the village: Nature is staged as an experience which is taken into account in several projects as well as the old school was converted into a village house that has led as a community center together with the opening of the park to a significant revitalization of the village center.

The reintroduction of the fair, the joint sowing of spelt and several other projects strengthen social cohesion, show a high level of sustainable awareness and are cleverly interconnected.
